Philippines in 1968. Having won public commendation as a contributory firm
to exportation from the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI)

Mr. Shimizu did not stop venturing in the ship industry only but also in

and seaweeds. It then moved its headquarters in different areas in Asia
in 1985 to accommodate its vast expansion. By this time, he established
a joint fishery business under Victory Ventures Fishing Corporation in
Manila as well as Alpha International Corporation responsible for the importation
of marine parts, navigation equipment, engines, and generators. Thereafter
new partnerships were opened in India, Singapore, China, and Korea.
